Walk for Those Who Can't is an annual fundraising event supporting the mission and programs of Carolina Canines for Service. Community members come together for a morning of fun, camaraderie and sharing to help us continue to help others. Individuals, businesses and corporations walk, with or without their four-legged friends, taking strides for independence.
At Carolina Canines for Service, we do more than train service dogs. We help people live more independent lives. We are dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to achieve greater independence and enhanced quality of live through services of specially trained service dogs. Since 1996, we have provided more than $3.0 million in services.
Carolina Canines for Service is a non-profit health and human services organization that provides people with disabilities quality trained service dogs. Founded in 1996, Carolina Canines for Service operates solely on private donations, community support and corporate grants. Through these funds we are able to place service dogs at no cost to recipients and offer the Carolina Canines for Therapy and Paws for Reading programs. We make lives better - one person at a time.
Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much more. - Helen Keller
