Q: What is a Team?
A: A team can be any group of 4 or more friends, co-workers, students, congregation members or families who pre-register, raise money and walk together.
Q: What if I don't get sponsors, how much does it cost to walk?
A: A minimum donation of $25.00 is required. The first 500 pre-registered walkers will receive a free Walk t-shirt. Please register early to ensure you receive a t-shirt, supplies are limited. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed.  Remember, Carolina Canines for Service is a 501c3 organization and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Q: Where will the money go?
A: Funds raised from the Walk For Those Who Can't will go directly to Carolina Canines for Service, Inc. CCFS is a non-profit corporation providing people with disabilities specially trained dogs and provides animal assisted therapy visitations in our communities.  Ninety-six cents of every dollar goes directly to program support.
Q: Are donations tax-deductible?
A: All contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Carolina Canines is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Q: Where do I mail donations and registration forms?
A: Walk For Those Who Can't, c/o Carolina Canines For Service, 1200 North 23rd Street, Suite 101, Wilmington, NC 28405
Q: If I am pre-registered, do I still need to sign-in?
A: Yes. All individual walkers and team captains must sign-in to receive their Walk t-shirts.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The walk will be held Rain or Shine!
Q: May I bring my dog?
A: Pets are welcome, but here are some guidelines: All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet; no retractable leashes. All pets must be current on all vaccinations. All pets must be under control of walker at all times; no more than 2 pets per walker. Please clean up after your pet! Water will be provided for both you and your dog along the course. Special Walk bandannas will be given to dogs walking with registered walkers while supplies last!
Q: May Children Walk?
A: We welcome people of all ages to participate in the Walk. If you are under 18 years of age you must either be accompanied by a parent or guardian or you must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. This waiver can be found on your registration form.
